Reviews of Toy Story 4 and Men in Black: International
Toy Story 4
On June 20, the final part of "Toy Story" was released. I don't want to compare this film with the previous ones, because I'm sure that every frashiza film is unique. You should not go to the movie with the expectation of a sequel to the third movie, go to it to see something truly unique and new. There are still a lot of exciting moments in the plot. The new characters are flawless. Each new character was given a solid backstory and we got answers to all the questions that might arise while watching the entire long franchise.
In addition, the cartoon is very funny, in my opinion it is the funniest movie from the entire franchise.
If you're a Pixar fan, then this movie won't disappoint you either. There are a lot of Easter eggs in the movie, but don't worry, I'm not going to tell them.
Finally, I am pleasantly amazed that Pixar dedicated this film not only to the late Don Rickles, but also to the great Pixar animator Adam Berko, who died in October 2018.
"Toy Story 4" is a wonderful ending to the story we all love so much.
I will miss this story. Thanks to Pixar, for the wonderful memories!
Men in Black: International
The continuation of the fantastic story of special agents for interplanetary relations will unconvincingly paint us a picture of the international network of Men in black and even more unconvincingly immerse us in the love story of special forces.
Ready for mind-blowing adventures in a fantasy world where unreal creatures with amazing physiology and unimaginable superpowers are just a step away from the Ground, viewers instead get a rather weak plot in which a little girl witnesses the work of men in black. And now the girl has become an adult (in the form of Tessa Thompson), and easily exposed the headquarters of special agents, broke into her without any problems and with a couple of unconvincing words assured the head of the secret service, worthy of becoming one of them.
And then, in the first moments of her stay at a new, coveted job, she allegedly always intended to seduce Agent H. (that is, Hemsworth) with feelings. And now they are rushing to a common task, the final goal of which is also not very clearly drawn... So much for the main plot of the Men in Black. International .
The thing about Men in Black has always been intergalactic humor. Unfortunately, the new part, while trying to be a love story, is neither romantic nor funny in the end. However, something else seems strange: the whole movie's characters are fighting against not knowing who. The abstract Swarm, which remains behind the scenes throughout the film and acts only in words, is considered a criminal here. But minor "thieves" (for example, the duo Les Twins) are by no means the personification of evil and do not create a sense of real threat.
The expectations of a multitude of fantastic creatures, an elaborate world, unique costumes and a clear structure of the film are being negated. In return, we get mediocre semi-espionage running around with a few good moments. It seems that the creators of the tape were indifferent about their own creation... Will the agents' love story get a sequel? Definitely. How will this be resolved, given that Hemsworth announced the suspension of his career? Let's see! In the meantime, let's review the unsurpassed first part. Before you play, take a quick look at the details on Betmac Casino —and always play responsibly (18+).
